Stevie Starr - Professional Regurgitator
A VEISHEA performance you won't forget! During his childhood Stevie Starr lived in a children's home and found out he had a talent when he was able to hide his money by swallowing it, then regurgitating it dry. His many acts include swallowing coins and regurgitating them in order, swallowing a billiard ball whole, swallowing live goldfish and producing them again - still alive.

Performance: Fiddler on the Roof
Tevye, his wife, and five daughters live in Tsarist Russia. He hopes to find fine husbands for each of his girls, men who will follow the Jewish faith and earn enough to made a comfortable life, but each young woman wants to make her own choice. Tevye finds himself placed in precarious position between the tradition he follows and the new ways his daughters accept. A universal story of love, hope, and acceptance.

Contortionist Jonathan Burns
Burns was the kind of kid who would put his leg over his head at the family reunion or perform musical armpit farts to impress the girls. In 2004, contorting his body and impressing people with his unusual talents became his full-time job. Since then he has performed at over 200 colleges & universities, at festivals across the US, Canada, China, Ireland, & New Zealand, and was recently featured on Jay Leno & the Late Show with Letterman.
VEISHEA: Comedy show
Harvard Sailing Team is the New York-based sketch comedy group that features clean-cut performers in preppy clothes, none of whom went to Harvard or sail.
Magician Nate Staniforth
Nate's performance combines stunning magic with original music, audience interaction, and a multimedia presentation that makes Nate's appearances absolutely unique. Juggling/Stunt Show
Matt Baker is a five time Guinness World Record holder and has performed his comedic juggling and stunt show in over 14 different countries. He's appeared on numerous television shows including Tosh.0, ESPN, Last Comic Standing and America's Got Talent. Matt Baker's hip comedy show and juggling act is action-packed with audience participation and perpetual laughter that will be sure to entertain you.

Arbor Day tree planting
Students in the landscape architecture progam will plant eight trees east of the College of Design to mark Arbor Day. The annual event, organized by Rhonda Martin, landscape architect in facilities planning and managment, includes a public proclamation and refreshments. Five burr oaks and three chinkapin oaks will be planted in recognition of this year's theme, "Drought Tolerant and Native Grown."
