Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. The first show, starting at 6:30 p.m. will be 20 minutes and for kids. Shows at 7 and 7:30 p.m. and are suitable for all ages. Tickets will be available at the door starting at 6:15 p.m. Seating is limited. Weather permitting there will be an outdoor observing session after the last show.
Cyclone Cinema: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
The Student Union Board presents Cyclone Cinema! Showings are FREE in Carver 101 at 7 and 10 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hope to see you there!
Noche de Cultura (Night of Culture)
Noche de Cultura showcases Latino culture with food and performances as the closing event for Latino Heritage Month. Latino Heritage Month promotes cultural awareness within the ISU and Ames community. It also allows our members to promote a level of political, social, cultural and ethnic awareness. Hosted by the Latino Heritage Committee

Concert: Tyler Hilton
Tyler Hilton released his debut album, The Tracks of Tyler Hilton, the same year of his acting debut as Chris Keller on the 2nd season of One Tree Hill. Other acting roles followed, including as Elvis Presley in the acclaimed Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. He eventually returned to music with the 2012 release of Forget the Storm, which hit #2 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums

Spirits in the Gardens
Scare is in the air as Reiman Gardens' Spirits in the Gardens event returns on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to join in the spooky fun by attending in costume.

Willie Watson, a co-founding former-member of the famed Americana bluegrass band Old Crow Medicine Show, is touring in support of his debut solo album, Folk Singer Vol. 1, a collection of ten songs ranging from folk standards to obscure gems. Harpist/singer-songwriter Mikaela Davis will open the show
