  facility that is equipped to grow large amounts of algae bi

 ters on their algae biomass research projects. At 4 p.m.\, M
 artin Gross\, an Iowa State graduate student\, will give a p
 resentation about his work on increasing the efficiency of g
 rowing algal biomass. He will also discuss other algal resea
 rch being conducted at Iowa State. Following this presentati
 on there will an open-ended conversation regarding universit
 y and industry collaboration to utilize this unique facility
 .   \n \nThe Algal Production Facility features various prod
 uction systems that are being used to grow algae\, including
  flat panel bioreactors\, two raceway pond systems\, a novel
  revolving biofilm reactor and various lab-scale reactors. T
