Container Gardening Workshop
Get expert hands-on instruction in outdoor container gardening. Horticulture Manager, Sarah Rummery, will demonstrate planting and placement in an outdoor container, and you will have the opportunity to practice on several displays in the Gardens.

Special Olympics Iowa summer games
More than 3,000 athletes participate in Special Olympics Iowa's largest annual event. Competition includes aquatics, athletics (track & field), bocce, cycling, developmental events, soccer and tennis. Athletes also enjoy Opening Ceremonies at Hilton Coliseum, a Celebration Dance, and activities and entertainment at the Olympic Festival.

From three-inch minis to a foot-tall "Ginormagnome," we've got a cast of characters that are fun to decorate and add to your indoor or outdoor space.
Growing with Grown-Ups: Vermiculture
Kids, bring an adult with you to Reiman Gardens each month and learn a wide variety of gardening and growing techniques from Horticulturist Jessie Liebenguth.
