The Unified Butterfly Recorder (UBR) is a handheld device app that allows butterfly researchers & enthusiasts to efficiently record butterfly sighting data. Join the entomology staff to learn more about the app, which automatically collects weather, location, & timestamps of sightings by selecting a butterfly from an editable list of species.

Via webinar, Bauch will discuss "disease-behavior" models his lab developed to study vaccine scares and similar behavioral phenomenon using various mathematical tools, such as dynamical systems, network simulations and model selection approaches.

This is a 4 week course on Wednesdays beginning May 6, May 13, May 20, and May 27 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Go in-depth with professional photographer and instructor Mark Stoltenberg, to understand just what exposure is and how adjusting it will alter your photographs, for a variety of desired effects. Learn to master manual control of the lightness and the darkness of an image, even when your camera suggests something different.
