Symposium: Portable Cow
Supported by the ISU Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities, this symposium explores the complex, often overlooked lives of farmed animals, especially cows, from a posthumanist perspective. A virtual option has been added to accommodate the university's move to virtual classes the morning of Feb. 18. The event continues with workshops on Feb. 19, and an accompanying exhibition Feb. 18-28 with a reception on Feb. 20.

Conference: Civics Across the Curriculum and Co-Curriculum
Cyclone Civics, Iowa State's new civics education initiative, is hosting a professional development conference for Iowa State faculty, administrators and staff. This event aims to facilitate dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices for integrating civic literacy and engagement across both curricular and co-curricular settings. Registration is free and required.
