CODAC Spring Sale
Final day of biannual sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts (undergraduate) and integrated visual arts (graduate) programs, sponsored by CODAC (College of Design Art Club). Work may include ceramics, prints, photos, woods, metals and textiles.

Campaign Series: Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren
Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is a senior U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. She was a law professor for 30 years before her election to public office in 2012. Her talk is part of the Campaign Series in 2019, providing the university community with opportunities to question candidates before the Iowa Caucuses.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Sarah Rajala, Dean of the College of Engineering since April 2013, is retiring, and the college is hosting a retirement party for her. Remarks will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Rose Martin, senior lecturer in food science and human nutrition since 2008, is retiring.
Workshop: Photo Recipes
A 4-week course led by professional photographer and instructor Mark Stoltenberg. The special photography class covers a collection of "how to" recipes. Participants should bring a DSLR camera and sturdy tripod. Beginner Photography or instructor permission is a prerequisite for this class. Preregistration with prepayment is required by May 5.
