Norm Hill, interim assistant vice president for business services, is retiring. Hill served as director of logistics and support services (formerly central stores) for 25 years. A program will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Celebration: World Intellectual Property Day
The event will highlight important innovations developed by Iowa State researchers and include a sampling of food products developed with ISU inventions. Participants can meet faculty who are an important part of ISU's intellectual property engine. Eugenio Matibag, professor of Spanish and U.S. Latino/a Studies in the world languages and cultures department, is retiring after serving as a faculty member since 1987. Light refreshments will be served, and he will perform a farewell duet at 4 p.m.

Open house: Iowa Public Radio Studios
