Student Organization Resource Fair
The Student Activities Center will be hosting the first annual Student Organization Resource Fair this fall. This event will provide Ames businesses and ISU departments with an opportunity to connect with student organization officers and promote services and resources open to student organizations.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Stone Mandalas Walk-in Craft
Mandalas are created with geometric shapes and curvilinear lines, and often incorporate ancient spiritual symbols that are significant in Hinduism and Buddhism. Stop by The Workspace to make a painted stone mandala, and keep it as a talisman for yourself, or give it to someone as a small but special gift.
The Symbolism of the Sand Mandala
Monks from the the Drepung Loseling Monastery will create a mandala sand painting in the lobby of the Memorial Union. The process consists of opening ceremony with chants, music and mantra recitation and ends with the dismantling of the mandala and dispersal of the sand.
