Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

The first homecoming game at Iowa State was more than just a rivalry on the field, it was a bid to keep female students at the college in Ames! Hear the unusual history of this 1912 game and how it led to over 100 years in tradition. Also, get a look at some rare Iowa State memorabilia. Homecoming: Yell Like Hell, second cuts
Yell Like Hell is a student-performed skit competition consisting of chants and cheers that demonstrate Iowa State spirit. It is designed to get students more involved on campus and develop Iowa State pride. The final skit is judged on enthusiasm, creativity and school spirit. Each skit represents the theme of Homecoming 2018, "This Is State" and the Iowa State Fight Song.
Homecoming: CyFactor Talent Competition
A variety show of student talent. The top three placewinners will receive awards and perform at the Oct. 26 Homecoming pep rally.

Enjoy giveaways and a pap rally featuring ISU coaches, student-athletes and performances by the Yell Like Hell finalists and CyFactor talent award winners. Attendees also can participate in the CYlent auction scholarship fundraiser, shop for Cyclone apparel and souvenirs from the ISU Book Store and enjoy activities for the kids.

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne announces tour dates for his 25-date North American Just Passing Through acoustic tour. John Stirratt of Wilco will accompany Ray on bass throughout the tour.
