Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.
Cyclone Cinema: Challengers
Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.

Drop in Craft: Vinyl Record Painting
September 3-30: Browse through our crate of old vinyl and use paint or special markers to turn a record into a piece of wall art. Write out song lyrics, create a mandala, make it abstract - the possibilities are endless!
Paint Your Own Pottery: Gnome Week
September 23-28: An enchanting cast of characters awaits you! Meet Norm, Norma, Nate, Nora, Elwood, Jake, and the ever-popular foot-tall Ginormagnome. Start (or keep building) your gnome village with cute little mushrooms, a small planter, or a fairy house.

Crafting a compelling 90-second pitch is an art that can make or break your message. At our Pitch Workshop, you'll learn how to deliver a powerful 90-second pitch that leaves a lasting impression, sharpen your storytelling skills and grab your audience's attention and receive guidance and feedback from the Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Punch Needle Class w/Sarah Cady
Learn the basics of punch needle and create a botanical wall hanging. Meets in the Workspace on Mondays beginning September 23, 6:30-8:30pm for 2 weeks.

Housing Fair
The Housing Fair is designed to help students or members of the Ames community find their home away from home. See options from local property managers, Department of Residence and others, learn about tenants' rights, and find other resources.
CALS Study Abroad Fair
Students can gain valuable information about domestic and international travel opportunities through the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Students can talk with program coordinators, study abroad representatives, and past program attendees. Attendees will be entered for a chance to win one of two $500 scholarships to be used towards an ISU study abroad program.

In this two-day event, participants form in small groups, based on their interests and abilities, then choose one of the three Bold Challenges -- AgTech, EdTech, and Global Impact. Why small groups? With little to lose, entrepreneurial small teams are able to brainstorm and consistently outperform large groups when it comes to innovation. Incentive prizes are designed to harness this energy.
