Jeffrey Cole is at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication as Director of the Center for the Digital Future and as a Research Professor. He is currently a member of the International Telecommunication Union's Forum Programme Committee and founded and directs the World Internet Project, a long-term look at the effects of computer and Internet technology on all aspects of society in over 20 countries. He was Principal Investigator of the Network Television Violence Monitoring Project, which in 1995, 1996 and 1997 issued annual reports to the television networks, Congress, and the nation. Noam Chomsky has written and lectured widely on linguistics, philosophy, intellectual history, contemporary issues, international affairs and U.S. foreign policy.
