Everett Worthington, professor of psychology, Virginia Commonwealth University, will speak about insights gleaned from two decades of research on forgiveness. He has authored over 20 books and 200 journal articles, many on forgiveness. He is the author of "The Power of Forgiving." The presentation is made possible by a grant from The Fetzer Institute, and is sponsored by Network, a group counseling program in Iowa State's psychology department.

Longworth is a two-time recipient of the Overseas Press Club Award for series on globalization and the UN and was twice a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
