Teal Wheels: Biking for Tikes
Dance Marathon will host an 8-mile fun bike ride through campus and the Ames community, bike decorating and an exciting tricycle race. Anyone is welcome to participate. "Little Dresses for Africa" Work Day
Simple dresses made out of pillowcases provide relief and hope for the children of Africa. We will provide the supplies, but can use the hands of volunteers to assist with making the dresses.
Garden Ceramic Painting: Making Old Ceramics New
Join artist Calee Himes, owner of chimesdesign, as she shows you how to create whimsical illustrations of plants and butterflies on old ceramic mugs. You can use this technique to create permanent illustrations on your own, dated ceramic dishes. This unique approach to re-using and recycling will bring a smile to your face each time you have a cup of coffee! All materials are included and all skill levels are welcome
"Create Peace" T-Shirts for 11 Days of Global Unity

Mythbusters with Grant Imahara
Grant Imahara, a member of the Discovery Channel's MythBusters team, will show clips from the show and explain how they do it all. Imahara is a former animatronics engineer and model maker for George Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic, the special-effects shop, where he worked on such movies as The Lost World, Star Wars: Episode I, and Terminator 3.
