Each session has hands-on activities to interact with all the wonderful plants that we enjoy and eat. Classes are great for kids of all ages to participate in with an adult.

Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. This is sort of like blowing bubbles when you were a kid, but we do it with a straw and paint. The popped bubbles show up and make interesting patterns on the finished pieces. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select. Pottery will be fired within a week for you to pick up.
Make a 6, 5 & 4 inch set of nesting boxes. Part of the class will utilize hand tools to learn a traditional hand joinery technique. Then learn to use the machinery to make boxes efficiently. The Woodshop Orientation class is helpful, but not required for this class.
