The Fashion Show 2016, one of the largest student-run fashion shows in the nation, is in it's 34th year and will feature more than 150 student-designed garments on the runway and in mounted exhibitions.

The Asia Project
Free Spoken Group Performance: The Asia Project is the story of Asia Samson, a cancer survivor who was won audiences throughout the country with a spoken word show that has been nothing less than an honest and genuine testimony of his life- a spoken word show that is always inspiring, sometimes gut-wrenching, and most often times comical buffoonery.

The university's highest awards are presented at this ceremony, which is open to the public. A reception will be held in the South Ballroom immediately following the ceremony. The event also will be live-streamed.

Dan + Shay
Critically acclaimed duo Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart with their 2014 release Where It All Began. They are the only new country duo in Nielsen SoundScan recorded history to debut at No. 1. The pair has also impressively sold over 1.5 million digital tracks and over 372,000 album equivalents to date, which includes 117 million streams of their music.

Arbor Day planting: Witchhazel Walk
The Graduate Student Horticulture Society is leading a planting day, including over 75 shrubs and trees along the sidewalk between Horticulture Hall and Osborn Drive. In addition to members of GSHS, volunteers from the undergraduate Horticulture Club and students in the Landscape Architecture program will participate.

MKTO
The California-based MKTO features the talents of actor/musicians Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, who first met in 2010 while filming the Nickelodeon television series Gigantic. Their debut single, "Thank You," was released on YouTube in January 2013 and had over 500,000 views within two days of its release. Their follow-up single, "Classic," was released the following June.

The CODAC (College of Design Art Club) annual spring sale of artwork by students in the integrated studio arts/integrated visual arts programs will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, April 27-29, outside the College of Design Dean's Office. Most of the proceeds go directly to the student artists, while the rest help fund club activities.
