Concert: Aaron Carter, Nikki's Wives
Aaron Carter became an international pop sensation at the age of 10 and went on to release several hit singles and multiplatinum albums as well as appear in film, television and on Broadway. Carter recently finished a successful North American tour performing songs he made famous during the past 15 years. He is currently recording a new album and preparing for his next tour.

Reception and talk: "Earth as Art"
A fusion of art and science, the exhibition features stunningly beautiful images of the planet that also provide a platform to teach about satellite imagery and geography. Exhibit curator Brent Yantis will host a gallery talk at 6:30 p.m. The exhibition runs Feb. 2-26 at the Design on Main Gallery.

Ceramics designer and ISU alumnus Jonathan Castro will visit Iowa State Jan. 30 -Â Feb. 4 as an artist-in-residence for the College of Design and Memorial Union. In this lecture, he will share his journey from student to full-time professional artist and the lessons he's learned on the way.

With intricate rhythms and song and dance of their native musical traditions, the program brings a joyous message of peace, love and harmony.
Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Artful Yoga
This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. In conjunction with the current exhibition, our practice this semester will focus on the color red. Please arrive early for a discussion on the month's topic beginning at 5:15. Film and Discussion: Eskimo Artist Kenojuak
Kenojuak Ashevak became the first woman involved with the printmaking co-operative in Cape Dorset, Canada. This film about her work by John Feeney was nominated for the 1963 Documentary Short Subject Oscar®. This 20 minute film will be followed by a discussion with Director of American Indian Studies Sebastian Braun, Art and Visual Culture Printmaking Professor April Katz, and University Museums Assistant Curator Adrienne Gennett.
