Digital Humanities in Practice: The Wikipedia "Edit-a-Thon"

Attendees will learn how to turn Wikipedia editing (updating as well as creating entries) into a valuable teaching tool in the humanities. Preregistration is required. Register through Learn@ISU. Keyword: LIB.
Award-Winning Faculty Series: Escape the Lure of the Lecture

Jan Thompson, Morrill Professor, Natural Resource Ecology and Management, will help you explore research-based, evidence-driven methods that shift the classroom focus from the instructor to the learners. Participants will experience ways to design learner-centered forms of instruction.
