First Amendment Days: Awards presentation
Greenlee School and Kappa Tau Alpha Diversity and Inclusion Awards Presentation: Ally Karsyn, Siouxland Public Media; and Emily Blobaum, Iowa State Daily, will be honored for excellence in journalism and promotion of a just and inclusive society through ethical storytelling that broadens people's understanding of diverse lives and communities. Planned as part of the First Amendment Days celebration. Registration (free) required.
Ribbon cutting: Forker Building
Celebrate the completion of $7.4 million in renovations to the Forker Building, including new labs, offices and student spaces. Remarks will be given at 3 p.m. inside the building's west entrance by Department of Kinesiology Chair Philip Martin, College of Human Sciences Dean Laura Dunn Jolly, and President Wendy Wintersteen.
