Campus conversation: "What should I do? White action and accountability to combat anti-blackness and systems-based racism"
"What should I do?" A virtual space for Iowa State employees, particularly white allies, to have a dialogue and learn recommendations on how to use their power and privilege to avoid perpetuating anti-blackness and systemic racism. A panel of Iowa State employees will be followed by small group discussion and moderated Q&A. Registration is required; spots are first-come, first-served.

CELT's Choose Your Instructional Tool Adventure focuses on various instructional strategies found on the CELT website and demonstrates practical ways to incorporate these tools in a Canvas course. Instructional support staff from across campus will facilitate each 30-minute byte. These 30-minutes builds on concepts covered in the Canvas Mini-Bytes training videos on the CELT instructional strategies pages.

You may be in the process of designing online or hybrid courses for Summer and Fall terms, building your STEM courses from the ground up for the very first time. In this SI Happy Hour presentation, Glen Davenport and Meghan Bathgate of the Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning will share design strategies for online courses. The advice comes straight from student survey data but has been vetted by learning scientists.
