A featured artist in the exhibition "Compelling Ground: Landscapes, Environments, and Peoples of Iowa," Tilly Woodward will discuss her artistic practice, her interest in the landscape of Iowa and her paintings that are on exhibition.

Valentine's concert, featuring Cownie Professor of Music and university carillonneur Tin-Shi Tam on the one-fifth carillon and campanile model, assistant teaching professor of voice Chad Sonka and assistant professor of trombone Nathan Dishman. Spectators may attend in person while observing face covering and physical distancing requirements. The performances also will be livestreamed on Facebook.

"False Offering and Other Oddities," poems by Rita Mookerjee, assistant teaching professor of women and gender studies. Topics include junk, garbage, witches, weirdos, rocks, and water fowl. Carol Faber, ISU associate professor of graphic design and a participant in the "20 Artists, 20 Parks" exhibition on view at the Sioux City Art Center Jan. 30-May 9, will share her creative process and describe the work she created for the show in a virtual artist's talk.
