Get a closer look at signature objects in the University Museums' permanent collection. This tour spotlights the diverse forms of Native American and Inuit art, from basketry to glassmaking.
Argentine Tango Lessons
Valerie Williams This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with different partners for practice. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Paint Your Own Pottery: Gnome Week

Macrame Air Plant Globe Workshop
Create a lovely hanging planter with an amber glass globe and cream cord. Learn basic macrame knotting that you can use on future projects, and pull together your project with sand, rocks, shells, and a Tillandsia air plant.

Garden Party
Throw on your floral prints and head to the Anderson Sculpture Garden for an evening outdoors to celebrate the installation of a new garden-inspired mural by nationally acclaimed artist Louise Jones aka Ouizi. Stroll the garden, talk to the artist, and enjoy delightful bites inspired by the mural. Rain location is inside Morrill Hall and the Christian Petersen Art Museum. Food sponsored and provided by ISU Dining Services.

Concert: Fox Royale
Fox Royale make anthemic, jangly indie-rock that sparkles with the same energy as acts like Cage the Elephant and Vampire Weekend. Before they were in a rock band, the members of Fox Royale were in a traveling orchestra. The band got their start jamming in their parent's homes, but eventually started thinking "Hey let's try a little harder at this." Alt-pop artist TREY will support the show.

Concert: The Get Up Kids
On their new album "Problems," The Get Up Kids examine everything from life-changing loss to loneliness to the inevitable anxiety of existing in 2019.
