Join this Discrete Math Seminar to hear Samuel Mohr, postdoc at the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University, discuss the concept of uniform Turán densities, present a way to obtain lower bounds using color schemes, and give a glimpse of the proof for determining a uniform Turán density.
The Bee Squad: Understanding and Improving Pollinator Health in Iowa
The 2021 Rossmann Manatt Seminar will highlight some of the research work done on bee health/pollinator conservation and will include short video contributions about student projects funded by through this program. Amy Toth is a Professor in the Departments of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology and Entomology at Iowa State University; she researches the mechanisms and evolution of insect sociality, using paper wasps and honey bees.

This circuit will be led by Gayle Coon, ISU Extension and Outreach.
