Wheel Pottery Class
An introduction to creating functional pottery on the wheel. Start with the building blocks of centering clay and pulling cylinders, and move on to make bowls, mugs, and other forms. Learn how to pull handles, glaze, and finishing techniques, and build the skills needed to continue on your own. Open to beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their skills.

Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.

Lily DeTaeye is a Des Moines native, harmonica-wielding singer-songwriter signed to Station 1 Records. A graduate of the University of Iowa, she is a prolific writer with a captivating and powerful voice, seamlessly blending her musical influences of folk, indie-rock, blues, and jazz.
