"Copyright in the classroom: Support for teachers," participants will explore real-life scenarios to help them navigate Fair Use, the TEACH Act, and other topics related to copyright and teaching. Registration required.
Film and discussion: Tik Tok Boom
The 2022 film TikTok Boom is a documentary that explores the ways in which members of ethnic minorities have been affected, and often marginalized, by this social media phenomenon. Novotny Lawrence focuses his research on film studies, blaxploitation cinema, race, media, and popular culture. He has a joint appointment between the Greenlee School of Journalism and the English Department. Free snacks will be provided.
