Celebrate Mother's Day at Reiman Gardens!
We offer free admission to all mothers on Mother's Day. Visitors can also discover live butterflies from around the globe in the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing, explore the tropical Hughes Conservatory, and browse the Gift Shop filled with unique and sustainable items.
Plant Sale Extravaganza
Plants for sale include perennials for sun and shade, herbs and vegetables, Iowa natives, woody plants including trees, shrubs and Buck roses, specialty evergreens, container annuals, hanging baskets, All-American Selection (AAS) winning vegetables and herbs, and prefinished mixed containers. Sale will be held rain or shine. Credit card, check, and cash will be accepted.
Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

Floral Design: Arranging Tropical Leaves
Join cherished instructor and State Fair Master Floral Judge Sandy Gossman for a different hands-on floral arrangement workshop each month. This May, learn to create a dynamic monochromatic vase arrangement using tropical greenery cut from the Hughes Conservatory.
