Cyclone Cinema: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Down and Dirty Swing Dance
Swing dancing lessons are the first half hour, the rest of the event is to have fun and dance to the Sentimental Swing Band. Open to all.

Retirement reception: Greg Miller
Greg Miller, associate professor in agricultural education and studies, is retiring Sept. 5 after 31 years of service to the university. A last lecture begins at 3 p.m. in 0013 Curtiss, followed by a reception (4-5 p.m.) in the Harl Commons, Curtiss Hall.

I.W. Arthur Memorial Lecture Economist Tyler Cowen will discuss the benefits and dangers of artificial intelligence (AI). Cowen believes that those who are worried about AI destroying humankind need to make a more convincing case for their concerns. Cowen thinks that those worried about AI are too willing to limit freedoms and empower government to reduce the uncertain risk.

SUB Comedy Night w/ Michael Rowland
Michael Rowland stars as Shred in the new hit FOX comedy Animal Control, alongside Joel McHale. Originally from Atlanta, GA, he is a New York-based stand-up comedian and actor. He just made his late-night tv debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and this past summer was honored as a New Face at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
