Songwriter Showcase: Goldfinch Room Reunion Festival
The 2-day festival features 16 solo artists and three duos performing in the Stephens courtyard area and F parking lots. Several songwriting process sessions will take place between performances. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Join Pohlman Fellow Monet Butler, a Junior undergraduate majoring in Political Science, for a presentation on her research uncovering the life and legacy of Zenobia Brumbaugh Ness and the significant contributions of Ness to the fine arts at Iowa State College in the 1930s and 1940s.
Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

Performance by Count Me In (CMI), a student led, treble-voice a cappella ensemble whose repertoire consists of a wide variety of popular music, some written for a cappella groups and some their own arrangements.

September 3-30: Browse through our crate of old vinyl and use paint or special markers to turn a record into a piece of wall art. Write out song lyrics, create a mandala, make it abstract - the possibilities are endless!
Paint Your Own Pottery: Fairies, Frogs & Fungi
September 30-October 5: Find your faves from the fauna like prankster pixies and adorable frog figurines, or create a forest floor scene with a fairy house and mushrooms in all sizes.

Youth Matinee Series: A Moving Sound
Fusing traditional influences with a global sensibility, A Moving Sound is an award-winning ensemble from Taiwan. The group built a worldwide following with their joyous mix of original music and dance. Featuring the distinctive timbres of the erhu (Taiwanese fiddle) and zhong ruan (lute), and the transcendent vocals of Mia Hsieh, A Moving Sound has devised a unique and compelling style that is all their own.

Rededication ceremony: Fountain of the Four Seasons
The rededication of the Fountain of the Four Seasons will feature remarks from President Wendy Wintersteen, University Museums Director and Chief Curator Lynette Pohlman, and Student Government President Martin Hursh. Celebrate the completion of the 2-year restoration project. Check the museums website for date or time changes due to inclement weather.
