Members of the Iowa Bonsai Association will be displaying unique specimens from their own collections and answering questions from the public.

Fine dining dinner: Nikkei
Theme: Nikkei (Japanese-inflected Peruvian cuisine). Three-course meal with dessert and wine parings. This is one of three themed dinners hosted by students in hospitality management, culinary food science and dietetics. Reservations are required.

Celebration of Life: Dr. Nani Ghoshal
Dr. Ghoshal, professor emeritus of veterinary anatomy, died Aug. 7 in Ames at age 89. He was a member of the Veterinary Medicine faculty from 1963 until his retirement in 2009.
