Workshop: Exploring the Difference Between Leadership and Management
"Exploring the Difference Between Leadership and Management," Laura Smythe, university ombuds. Every workplace needs effective managers and leaders. Understanding the different roles helps supervisors know what behavior is needed in what context. We will distinguish management behavior from leadership behavior, and the impact of each so supervisors at all levels can determine how they want to show up and what result they can expect.
ISCORE Preconference
A professional development opportunity for faculty, professional and merit staff. These sessions provide a structured environment to enhance your understanding and sensitivity to cultural differences.
