"Hive Mind" Inspirations: Chemistry at Iowa State

Join Brett Vanveller, associate professor in the department of Chemistry, to view some of the unique equipment found in the labs at Iowa State University, and how the discoveries made at ISU inspired the artist.

Retirement reception: James Roth
Roth, director of the Center for Food Security and Public Health, Clarence Hartley Covault Distinguished Professor in Veterinary Medicine and holder of the Presidential Chair in Veterinary Microbiology and Preventive Medicine, will retire June 30 after more than 48 years of service to the university.

Songwriter Showcase: David G. Smith and Carol Montag
David G. Smith and Carol Montag take the stage for the second of five performances in the Goldfinch Room Songwriter Showcase series at Reiman Gardens. A local food truck will be on site and beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are allowed. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the lawn. Inclement weather could move the performance to the Garden Room.
Summer Carillon Concert Series
