ISU alum Gina Ochsner is the author of People I Wanted to Be and The Necessary Grace to Fall, and her short stories have been featured in The New Yorker and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. Her latest book, The Russian Dreambook of Color and Flight, will be published in 2010.

Ochsner graduated with a master's degree in English from Iowa State and a master in fine arts from the University of Oregon.
