The CyCans canned food drive is run by SAAC, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and all proceeds go to the Food Bank of Iowa.
The goal this year is to help the Food Bank of Iowa collect 10,000 pounds of food for families in need. One in eight Iowans are food insecure and for every $1 of donation the food bank can provide 4.5 meals. Help give a family a great Thanksgiving by bringing your canned food or cash donation to the game.
You can also take your donation to the Jacobson Athletic Building from Nov. 6 through Nov. 13.

-- High protein items (canned meats, peanut butter)
-- Canned soup
-- Instant oatmeal
-- Boxed meal kits
-- 100 percent fruit juice
-- Paper and personal products (toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, diapers, toothpaste)
