Panel discussions on Iowa political caucuses (1:30 p.m., featuring Dianee Bystrom, ISU Catt Center for Women and Politics; Kathie Obradovich, Des Moines Register; and Dave Price, WHO-TV) and Reiman Gardens' All-American Selections Trial Ground (3:30 p.m., with Jessie Liebenguth, Reiman Gardens' trial judge: Aaron Steil, WHO Radio Gardening Today; and Mark Widrlechner, ISU horticulture).

Visitors will be encouraged to vote for their favorite flower in the trial ground. A winner will be announced at the end of the event, so make sure to rally others to your favorite! The American Garden Award voting is open and encouraged on this day -- plenty of postcards will be available and voting is even easier via your smartphone.

Other activities include a political button making station, wacky hat station, voting machine demonstration and a caucus memorabilia display provided by both the Story County Republicans and the Story County Democrats. Guests can also tour the Gardens, see the newly installed Conservatory display called "Balloons All Around" and the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing.
