Our presentation will show how to implement successful blended course strategies, factors impacting design and decision points in the design and why they succeed. We will interactively engage in a discussion on early design failures and how to avoid them in your course. We will also show and share how to fully exploit online resources in a blended course.

While a universal answer to perennial questions of blended course design does not exist, the faculty, advisors, curriculum development teams, and instructional designers can all learn from strategies we have incorporated into a successful blended course. This event will introduce you to the concepts behind blended learning by exploring the links between theory, practice, and student engagement. Bring your brown bag lunch to this 15 minute presentation followed by active discussion.

Sponsored by the ISU Online Learning Innovation Hub (CELT)
