Quality Matters is a research-based initiative aimed at improving student learning experiences in online programs and courses. The Quality Matters curriculum introduces faculty and instructional staff to best practices in instructional design, provides a rubric for assessing online course design and outlines a process for continuous improvement of online and hybrid courses.

Ralph will provide an overview of how Iowa State is utilizing QM to improve blended/online courses across campus. Presenter: Ralph Napolitano, Associate Director for Online Learning, CELT; Professor, IMSE

The Blended Learning Brown-bag Roundtable is a monthly directed discussion and open-forum focused on blended learning practices and opportunities at Iowa State. Each forum will begin with a short presentation (15 min) followed by an open discussion. All are welcome and invited to bring a lunch. Registration is not required.
