Leo Timms, award-winning Dairy Science and Morrill professor, shares how he uses context and application to relate to diverse learners both in his ISU classroom and in his experiences as an extension teacher. See how Leo's techniques for making science simple, understandable, and economical (where appropriate) connect with not only ISU's student population, but also farmers, grocers, and elementary children.

How do we know we have connected and what impact we have had? Leo will also share how he iteratively assesses and incorporates evaluative data into his teaching methods.
