SOAR is Saving Our Avian Resources, a non-profit center for raptor rehabilitation, education and research. Workspace teacher and SOAR volunteer Terrie Hoefer will be on hand to lead instruction as well as introduce participants to Blaze, SOAR's charming American Kestrel Education Ambassador. Volunteers will make jesses and other needed items for SOAR, the ISU Care Clinic and the Iowa Wildlife Center. A great afternoon for anyone interested in crafting or wildlife, or a little bit of both! Drop in to visit or stay for the afternoon.
