Uschi Niethammer, program officer for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), will make a presentation about this German government- and EU-funded agency and explain its culture, the wide variety of RFPs, review process and suggestions on how to submit a successful grant proposal to DAAD.

This workshop is targeted toward all researchers, at all levels and in all disciplines who wish to gain some insights about the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). She will highlight specific programs for faculty researchers and talk about opportunities for post-docs and graduate students. Faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students -- all are welcome.
