Sarah Kanouse, Associate Professor of Intermedia and Dean's Scholar at the University of Iowa, is an interdisciplinary artist and writer examining the politics of landscape and public space. Goldtrap Lecture in English

Sarah Kanouse's work has been screened or exhibited at Documenta 13, The Banff Centre, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, The Cooper Union, and the Smart Museum, as well as in numerous festivals and art spaces internationally. She has published on performative and site-based contemporary art practices in Art Journal, Acme, Leonardo, Parallax and in the forthcoming volume Critical Landscapes (University of California Press).
