Reiman Gardens is open until the conclusion of the Ames fireworks display, which begins at dusk. Visitors may bring folding chairs, blankets and coolers with food and drinks, but must keep all fireworks and sparklers outside the fence.

The Ames fireworks display is provided by the Young Professionals of Ames in partnership with the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau Community Grant Program, the City of Ames and Iowa State University.

Gardens admission is free for members, ISU students and children age 3 and younger.
