Join University Museums for 4th of July fun after the downtown Ames parade. Celebrate the 155-year-old first building on Iowa State campus and the agricultural heritage of the institution. The Onion Creek Cloggers and Band will perform from 1:30 to 3:00pm and the Gilbert Tractor Club will have a showing of many historic tractors and several balers during the event.

In addition, we will open a 1990s time capsule from the 20th anniversary of Farm House being open to the public as a historic home museum. Bring your family, friends, and even a picnic, and enjoy this celebration of the 40th year of Farm House as a museum!

Parking is available on campus in spaces not reserved for "all hours, all days" or marked handicap. Consider parking in the lots southeast of the Food Sciences Building or in the Memorial Union Ramp.
