This presentation introduces a brief Game Based Learning (GBL) literature review to clarify the definitions of GBL in educational settings. It also delves into the current status of GBL in education through displaying examples from current courses and studies. The presentation also discusses limitations and opportunities in terms of research in GBL and presenter's personal research experiences within GBL.
