Join Melissa Peterson from Ted Lare Garden Center in Cummings, for this fun, hands-on, family-friendly workshop, where proper plants, planting & design techniques, care and maintenance will be shared. The fee includes pot, soil, moss, rocks, and a small selection of plants to get started. Then decorate your garden with tiny garden items such as benches, pots, stools, and other fanciful fairy items - available at an additional cost.
Preregistration with prepayment is required by Wednesday, August 5. Families may register together - groups of 3 or fewer preferred. Cost is per garden and $44 for members and $55 for the general public. Iowa State University students get 15% off the member price.
