Ronald Lecture Series in Environmental Conservation. Bridget Scanlon heads the Sustainable Water Resources Program and is Senior Research Scientist at the Bureau of Economic Geology, Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin.

Bridget Scanlon studies the impact of climate variability and land use change on groundwater recharge and on the quantity and quality of water resources. Her research group is using GRACE satellite, surface water, and groundwater data to evaluate approaches to coping with drought, with a focus on California, Colorado and Texas.
