Keith Scott is one of Chicago's most vibrant musicians. For the past 20 years he's built his reputation as a sizzling blues guitarist, dynamic performer, noteworthy songwriter and bandleader.

Originally from White Plains, New York, he attended college in Gainesville, Florida where he met Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley. With the inspiration of his music heroes, Scott relocated to Chicago to pursue his musical journey and began hanging around legendary blues venues including the Checkerboard Lounge and Theresa's Lounge. It was in these venues that Scott met and jammed with blues legends including Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, James Cotton and Little Milton. Not long after, he began touring the world with the Jimmy Dawkins blues band.
