Students in the Spring 2016 Dsn S 145x, Diversity in Art class along with Dr. Reginald Stewart, Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion, invite you to celebrate and be among the first to view the painting Personal Growth by Paul Cooley. This painting was recommended for acquisition to the Art on Campus Collection by the students in the class because they felt it represented the importance of diversity and inclusion at Iowa State.

To be alive is to grow, and this overarching theme of life is brought to the forefront at Iowa State University where personal growth and self-progress are important goals of the students who attend it. The desire for personal growth unites all people regardless of race, gender, religion, or any of the things that may otherwise divide.

Brief remarks will be made and light refreshments will be provided.
