"Pursuing Questions: Prospects for the Economy in Agriculture," Alan Barkema, retired senior vice president and director of research from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

Barkema served as professor and head of the Agricultural Economics Department at Oklahoma State University. A native of Alexander, Iowa, he holds BS, MS and PhD degrees from Iowa State University and an MS degree from Cornell University. He is a graduate of the Executive Program at Stanford University.
