Join us for a panel discussion about the constitutional and legal rights of all immigrants living in Iowa. Students, faculty, staff and Ames community members are invited to attend, ask questions and share their concerns and resources.

Panelists include Sonia Reyes-Snyder, Executive Officer from the Office of Latino Affairs/Iowa Department of Human Rights; Ann Naffier, an immigration attorney with Justice for Our Neighbors; Sandra Sanchez from the American Friends Service Committee; Sandra Zapata from One Iowa; and Rita Bettis with ACLU of Iowa.

The discussion will cover immigrants’ rights, including undocumented residents and DACA students; how to address hate incidents; and the availability of on and off-campus resources.
