Writer/performer Chris "Comedian CP" Powell enjoyed a thriving career in advertising in Detroit before moving to Los Angeles. Powell has stayed true to his city in starring in Comedy Central's Detroiters and TBS's The D, for which he is a co-creator, writer, and performer. CP has found great success while having a recurring role in Fox's Empire. Additionally, MTV2's World Star TV and Russell Simmons All Def Comedy Live HBO Special.
